One after the other, the two teams have made official the date on which the curtain will rise on their livery for the 2024 Formula 1 season. Ironically, it's the same date for both teams.

Chance can sometimes be amusing! Indeed, within a few minutes of each other, Williams and Sauber have both communicated the date of the presentation of their F1 2024. So far nothing very surprising. But looking closer, the two stables have announced the launch of their next season… for the same day both of them!

The two stables, through their respective social networks, have therefore revealed their colors on the date of February 5th. Neither of the two teams has so far specified the time at which the ceremony will take place. Their announcements follow that of the Scuderia Ferrari which will present its car on February 13.

On the other hand, it is important to specify that if the new visual identity of the two stables will be revealed on February 5, nothing in the press release of the two entities indicates that it will be the new single-seaters that will race for the 2024 Formula 1 season. Williams and Sauber reserve the right to present their true new single-seater for winter testing.

As a reminder, Williams finished 7th in the last Formula 1 World Championship and hopes to start a new virtuous cycle based on the good results of the previous year. As for Sauber, the Swiss team is returning to its original name after 5 years of collaboration with Alfa Romeo, which ended last year with a 9th place finish in the Constructors’ Championship with only a total of 16 points.

The winter Formula 1 trials will be held from February 21st to 23rd, a week before the first Grand Prix of the season in Bahrain.
