6 Heures de Spa – H+3: Alpine and Peugeot threaten Ferrari
The two French brands were out in front, competing with the two Ferraris. By mid-race, the field was extremely tight.

The ranking was completely shaken up at the start of the third hour. In GT3, the Heart of Racing’s Aston Martin took the lead in the category just ahead of the Iron Dames’ Porsche. In Hypercar, the Ferrari #50 was trying to hold off the Alpine #36 and the Peugeot #93.

The French forces were well positioned to achieve a very good result. With all four cars in the top ten, including two on the podium, anything was possible.
The various incidents during the race allowed several teams to implement offset strategies. This was mainly observable in GT3.

The Iron Dames were well in the rhythm in this first part of the race. The second Porsche, #92, was running very strong but was too aggressive against the Mercedes #60 in the last chicane. The Iron Lynx car was sent into a spin.
In the pit stop game, the Alpine #36 managed to temporarily take the lead of the race. Jules Gounon was able to gain a slight advantage thanks to the traffic. For the other A424, it was more complicated with a thirteenth place.
Just before mid-race, the McLaren #95 hit the wall after contact with the Mercedes #60 at Les Combes. Second safety car intervention in this event.
