The Barcelona 2 testing schedule

The FIA had planned 12 testing days before the start of the season – eight have already passed, leaving only four remaining, which will take place this week – from Thursday to Sunday at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. As with the previous two test sessions, not all teams will be present for these tests.

The Marussia team announced that it will not be present after failing the crash tests with its 2012 car. The Spanish team HRT hopes to finish its first car in time, but there is no guarantee that it will succeed. The team has not revealed its testing schedule for these last four days, and although it seems unlikely that they will be able to run all four days, they hope to run at least one or two days.

For the other 10 teams on the grid, no surprises, they will be present in Barcelona for the four days of testing with their two main drivers behind the wheel of one of their single-seaters for the 2012 season. As announced yesterday, Ferrari and Red Bull will indeed be present on the same dates as their rivals.
