Alfa Romeo Racing presents the new C41 in music
Alfa Romeo unveiled the C41, its new car for the 2021 season, on Monday, February 22. The F1 features a red and white livery, as always, but slightly different.

Alfa Romeo Sauber Orlen is the third team to present its 2021 car.
Covid-19 disrupted the 2020 race schedule and also impacted the new technical regulations that were to be implemented for this season. Thus, despite a few adjustments, it is unsurprising that the 2021 single-seaters will look very similar to their 2020 counterparts.

Drawing on their resources before the new 2022 single-seaters:
Today, Alfa Romeo follows the path opened by McLaren and AlphaTauri in recent days and presents the 2021 livery of its car named C41. The presentation took place in Warsaw, the country of the new title sponsor: the oil company Orlen.
What is immediately noticeable is the distribution of colors. While the bi-tone white/rosso competizione is still used, it is integrated differently. The car is white, and the brand’s historic red enhances the work done on the pontoons, as well as on the halo. On the hood, it brings out the brand’s logo, tinted with the famous “quadrifoglio verde.” The appearance is stunning. The design seems more balanced and more aggressive.
In a second phase, we notice the significant work done on the nose of the C40. This departs from the concept of the previous two years, which was heavily inspired by the Ferrari nose. If the aesthetic aspect also provides the same level of aerodynamic advantage, the team should rise in the hierarchy.
We will return in a second article on the differences between the 2020 and 2021 versions.
Which drivers for which objectives in this year of transition?
Team-wise, there are few changes. At the forefront, the drivers are still the pair Räikkönen/Giovinazzi, with Robert Kubica serving as the third driver.
The oldest driver on the grid, who experienced the V10 era, then the V8 era with the title won in 2007, and now the V6 Turbo Hybrid era, is still highly motivated. Beyond the sympathy and media attention he brings to the team, it is mainly for his experience, technical feedback, and ability to remain strong in races that he has been extended for another year.
Next to him, an Italian driver who is struggling to prove himself. With inconsistent performances, he can’t seem to gain momentum. This is the last chance season for him.
Thus, the team’s goals remain simple. Do their best to achieve a few top 5 finishes during the season and make people forget about the below-par 2020 campaign.
If the Ferrari engine proves effective this year, the battle for the midfield could be fierce in 2021. With the enthusiasm, rigor, and experience that have characterized the Sauber team for many years now, there might even be room for some standout performances if circumstances allow.
