The Qatar Grand Prix was the site of Max Verstappen's third coronation. This event at the heart of an atypical weekend did not fail to animate the networks in recent days.

Max Verstappen didn’t even wait for the race to get his third world champion title. Indeed, the Dutchman was crowned on Saturday as soon as the sprint race, a first in the history of the discipline.

An interesting statistic is that of the World Champion over the decade. With only 4 different world champions (Vettel, Hamilton, Rosberg and thus Verstappen) since 2010, this is the least diverse period of champions since the beginning of the category in 1950. The true face of modern F1?
📊 Since 2010 (that’s 14 seasons), F1 has only known four different World Champions.
Over such a period, this is the least diversity of champions in the history of the discipline. 🏆#F1 | #QatarGP 🇶🇦 pic.twitter.com/CvJQurSDc9

Eclipsed by Verstappen and his world title, the rookie Oscar Piastri was nonetheless the second man of the weekend. The young Australian brilliantly won the sprint race on Saturday before finishing a solid second in the race on Sunday. More and more often at the top of the bill!

If Piastri finished ahead of him, Lando Norris, third on the podium and also author of a very beautiful race, will have been the one who made his team shine the most this Sunday. In fact, on his last stop during the race, the McLaren mechanics simply performed the fastest pit stop in the world in 1.80 second…

For others, however, the race has been quite different. Clipped by his teammate Russell at the first turn, Lewis Hamilton returned to the paddock on a scooter. But a comical scene with the lost scooter driver, being guided by Hamilton, led to this comedic reaction.

On his side, author of a crazy comeback up to the 4th place, George Russell treated us to an uncommon scene, by “refreshing” both his hands in the pit straight. Not to be replicated on the roads!

But the striking image of this end of Grand Prix will remain the very worrying state of fatigue of the drivers at the end of the race. The FIA has also announced that they are working to avoid reproducing this.
🚨 After complaints from pilots, the FIA states that it “will work with F1 to avoid the repetition of extreme conditions such as those encountered by the drivers during the Qatar GP”! 🌡️#F1 #QatarGP 🇶🇦 pic.twitter.com/a4S5ibRb0H
