Haas drivers in the colors of the USA for the US GP
Nico Hülkenberg and Kevin Magnussen will wear a uniform in the colors of the United States during the Grand Prix in Austin next week. The drivers will pay tribute to the home country of Haas, the only American team on the circuit.
Before the possible arrival of Andretti in F1 from 2026, Haas is the only American team on the grid for now. The team currently 9th in the championship will pay tribute to its origins during the second race in the United States since the start of the year.
At the start of the season in Miami, the Haas drivers had already sported special suits, reminiscent of the Florida sun and palm trees. With this outfit, Kevin Magnussen demonstrated good performance, starting from the 4th place on the starting grid.
For the 18th round of the season in Austin, Magnussen and Hülkenberg will debut a suit in the colors of the USA flag with a dominance of blue and stars, like those found on the run-off areas of the Texan track.
Haas remains on a losing streak and has only scored one point in the last eight Grand Prix, the worst total of all the teams on the grid. It will take more than a new combination to regain performance, but at least, the visual effect is there.
