A first IndyCar test for Logan Sargeant
Meyer Shank Racing will give former Williams Formula 1 driver Logan Sargeant his first IndyCar test on November 19. The American contested 37 F1 races for the team before being replaced by Argentinian Franco Colapinto last August.

Finally some news for Logan Sargeant, who had gradually disappeared from the circuits, after being ousted from Williams. The American saw his chances of returning to Formula 1 vanish.
In a video on his Instagram account, he reveals the behind the scenes of his return with the Meyer Shank Racing team, an IndyCar team. The team owned by Mike Shank and Jim Meyer confirmed that they would take advantage of their final evaluation test day to have Logan Sargeant drive at Thermal Club in California. A private circuit that will become a full-fledged event in next season’s championship.
The 23-year-old American will be tested on a 17-turn, 3.067-mile road course on November 19, in one of the team’s Honda-powered Dallara DW12 cars.
Logan Sargeant competed in 37 Formula 1 races for Williams before being replaced by the Argentine Franco Colapinto in August, after months of speculation that the Floridian would not be retained by Williams for 2025.
Anticipating change, Logan Sargeant’s manager has contacted several IndyCar teams in recent months to inquire about possible opportunities to ensure a future in the automotive world.
