Esteban Ocon’s move to Alpine in numbers

He won’t even reach 110 Grand Prix. He stopped at 106. But since 2020 and his arrival in the team, then called Renault, Esteban Ocon has still made a lasting impression. How can we not mention his victory in Hungary in 2021? Because, yes, he is the only man who has passed through Renault and Alpine since the return to Formula 1 in the modern era.

With the tricolor structure with British touches, the Normand also stepped onto three podiums. We tend to forget, but in Bahrain in 2020, he obtained a second place behind Sergio Perez and ahead of Lance Stroll. Esteban Ocon also achieved the fastest lap in the race this year in Austin. Not to mention the number of points scored: 309, for an average of 2.92 per Grand Prix. With the Renault engine, he led for 80 laps for a total of 351 kilometers. With the French power unit, that’s 5,604 loops for 28,240 kilometers.
