GP Explorer: Squeezie wants to create an F4 league to reveal the drivers of tomorrow
Hot on the heels of the announcement of GP Explorer 3, Squeezie unveiled his next challenge: to create a Formula 4 league for young talents who haven't had the means to break into motorsport. It's a unique project, part competition, part social springboard.
Karting, courses, equipment… Even before considering F4, the economic barriers are often insurmountable. There are plenty of young people with talent who never had the means, lamented Squeezie in his live on May 10. The league project aims to bridge this gap by allowing enthusiasts to get noticed without spending tens of thousands of euros.
A league inspired by the Kings League
The format is inspired by Gerard Piqué’s Kings League, which transformed amateur football into a high-level show. Squeezie envisions weekends of competition broadcast online, with teams coached by personalities and a drafting system to integrate new drivers. A clever mix of reality TV, e-sports, and motorsports. “I want a regular league, with events, content, and above all, room for those who are never heard,” he explained.
Beyond the race, the league would also be a training platform, with partners to support young drivers: engineers, coaches, former pros. Objective: to provide them with the necessary tools to succeed in the automotive world, without resorting to selection by money.
A logical continuation to the GP Explorer
After three editions of the GP Explorer, the conclusion is clear: the event has sparked new passions. Many fans have taken an interest in F4 thanks to these influencers. With this league, Squeezie transforms the showcase into a gateway and extends the adventure with a sense of legacy.
Remains to be seen if this F4 league will come to fruition in 2026, as its initiator hopes. In the meantime, eyes are on the Le Mans circuit, where the latest GP Explorer promises to be a historic last stand for motorsport fans… and of renewal.
