British Formula 4 joins the British GP 2025
For the first time, all four FIA single-seater categories - F1, F2, F3 and F4 - will be brought together at the same event, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, from July 4 to 6, 2025.

The British Formula 4 Championship, certified by the FIA, will make its debut as a support race for the British Grand Prix. Two non-championship races, each lasting 25 minutes plus one lap, are scheduled during the weekend. These races are reserved for teams already registered in this year’s British F4 Championship.
Eve Lake-Grange, the championship manager, stated: “This is a really important moment for everyone involved in the British F4 Championship certified by the FIA. Having the opportunity to race in support of Formula 1 at the British Grand Prix is something we have aimed for a long time, so we are thrilled to have achieved it.”
A unique opportunity for young talents
Participating in an event of this magnitude offers young drivers exceptional visibility. Eve Lake-Grange emphasizes: “We take pride in being the first step towards Formula 1, and for our drivers, seeing the potential career path ahead of them, on the same weekend they race, will be both special and inspiring.”
The addition of F4 to the British Grand Prix program allows spectators to follow the progression of drivers from their beginnings to the heights of the discipline. It’s a rare opportunity to see the talents of tomorrow in action alongside the current stars of F1.
A full program for fans
The 2025 British Grand Prix promises to be a must-attend event for motorsport enthusiasts. In addition to the F1, F2, F3, and F4 races, the weekend will include practice sessions, qualifying rounds, and various entertainment for fans. Silverstone, the historic home of Formula 1, will provide an ideal setting for this celebration of motorsport.
Tickets for the event are available on the official Formula 1 website. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience an immersive experience at the heart of automobile competition.
An unprecedented showcase for motorsport
This intersection of generations and levels of competition at Silverstone symbolizes a clear vision of the FIA: bringing future champions closer to the world’s elite within the same framework. Seeing young F4 drivers line up on the same track as their F1 idols not only strengthens the educational aspect of the discipline but also highlights the evolution of motorsport towards greater coherence and visibility. For fans, it’s a rare opportunity to observe the entire pyramid of motorsport in a single weekend, from the first career turn to the pinnacle. The weekend of July 4 to 6 at Silverstone thus promises to be much more than just a Grand Prix: a manifesto of what motorsport represents today, and especially tomorrow.
