Sahara Force India finished the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 7th and 8th positions, with Nico Hülkenberg ahead of Sergio Pérez. Fourth place in the Constructors' Championship was achieved. The great adventure begun in 2008 continues for Vijay Mallya's team!

The two Manor cars placed themselves between the two Sauber drivers on the final Saturday of qualifying at Yas Marina. Pascal Wehrlein even managed to get his car into Q2 in 16th position, while Esteban Ocon, struggling with tire problems, had to settle for 20th on the grid.

Nasr's brilliant ninth place in Brazil and the two points that resulted from it saved the team from last place in the standings. Back to earth for the final round in Abu Dhabi. Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson set the pace again, finishing 19th and 22nd in qualifying.

The Williams team is certainly aiming to compete with its direct rivals Force India on the Yas Marina circuit. But the day's qualifying sessions were not as promising as the two drivers would have liked, with Felipe Massa taking 10th place and Valtteri Bottas 11th.

Following the fine performance of the two Force Indias at the Brazilian Grand Prix, Vijay Mallya's men enter the final leg with a 27-point lead over their rivals Williams. An almost definitive lead, in short, which means they can look forward to the rest of the programme in Yas Marina with confidence.

This Friday marks the final moments of the final countdown. Tomorrow we'll know the grid for a decisive race, which will deliver the 2016 drivers' world champion. Lewis Hamilton will be the closest to achieving this goal after his domination in FP1 and FP2. But watch out: Nico Rosberg is just a breath away!

The Brazilian Grand Prix could have been a little better for McLaren's 800th team Grand Prix since 1966, given the weather conditions which favoured a levelling out of performances. But it wasn't to be.
